HOW DO I JOIN THE CLUB?
          - Come to a club practice and fill out some liability paperwork, as well as pay a $10 for each term (except summer, which is free!). This $10 covers the cost of shuttles and some other services available to club members.
WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO JOIN THE CLUB?
          - Any Drexel affiliate is elegible to play! That means undergraduate students, graduate students, faculty, and even alumni!

WHAT DO I NEED TO PLAY?
          - You will need athletic clothing (shorts, sneakers/indoor court shoes). Shuttles (plastic for now, but feathers are on the way) will be provided. You can rentbadminton rackets from the Recreation Center, and the club has several rackets that are available for use that are better than the RecCenter rackets, but it is recommended that you bring/purchase your own racket. Most people have their own :-D

WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE CLUB AND THE TEAM?
          - The club is skill agnostic: you can be an absolute beginner or an ex-South Asian junior national team player, and still play on the same court. Conversely, the team is all about winning! The team is composed of the most skilled members of the club, and represents Drexel in all collegiate matches and tournaments. The amount of funding DBC receives partially hinges on the success of the team, so performance and skill is everything. You only need to be part of the club to play at Drexel.

WHO DOES THE TEAM COMPETE AGAINST?
          - The team competes in around 7 open tournaments on the East coast, as well as the collegiate national tournament, which can be on the East coast or West coast. Additionally, the team competes against many colleges on the East coast: Princeton, NYU, Columbia, Bryn Mawr, UPenn, Temple, Swarthmore to name a few.

HOW DO I JOIN THE TEAM?
          - Team tryouts will be held during the second week of the term. More information to come.
