Practice Schedule
The team, separate from the club, practices outside and during club play. Training schedules will vary depending on players' schedules. The team is the competing group of the club.

1. Attend 50% of all team practices each week.
2. Compete and represent Drexel University in tournaments, meets, etc.
*It is suggested that each member train on their own--work on cardio, technical work (ex. footwork, grip, etc.) --to further improve your skills and benefit the team.

Tryouts
Tryouts are held whenever necessary--they are usually held within the first couple weeks of the Fall term but additional tryouts may be appended depending on individual requests.
What will I do in tryouts?
You may be asked to:
1) play a one (or more) set match against a team member (21 point match)
2) participate in team training drills to see where your skill-set lies (ex. footwork, strokes, agility)
3) debrief with one of our coaches/trainers on your background in the sport, questions, concerns, etc.
What if I don't make it?
You can continue to play with the club for as long as you'd like to improve and if you are ready, try out again!
Many of our team members in the past to present have started off as beginners and have trained their way to play competitively!
Players of all levels are welcome to try out!
